to £highly competitive + benefits

Managing Alpha and Beta test campaigns for consumer electronics products

This role would involve managing, and inspiring large teams of external testers who provide alpha / beta testing of infotainment products. If you have a strong technical background in software test and a natural ability to organise and enthuse people, this role may appeal to you.

You would be planning and executing test campaigns for a range of products and features in collaboration with the engineering and testing teams, recruiting new testers as required. You would manage forums where testers can share their feedback, and provide stakeholders with insights gained during the test campaigns. The role would also involve you in investigating the root cause of technical problems during test, and identifying workarounds to allow testing to continue.

You will need:

  • A good degree in an applicable STEM discipline from a well-respected university.
  • Strong skills in programme or project managing test campaigns.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability write clear and concise written reports detailing issues arising during the test campaigns.
  • Full rights to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship will also be required.

A varied and challenging role, this will require a depth of technical understanding, a can-do attitude, and an aptitude for working with a diverse set of people. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer for the successful candidate.
