Electronic design for real-world robotics

This well-funded startup company develop specialist robotics for agri-tech. As they expand, they seek a hands-on electronics engineer will the ability to manage development projects. The company comprises computer vision and machine learning experts alongside electronics, mechanical, software and quality engineers. The engineers design and implement the researchers' work to develop a bespoke rugged system, which is currently working successfully in the field in the UK and abroad.

As they expand their markets, the company are looking to recruit a skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to design the next generation product. As well as hands-on design, this will include working with colleagues and external suppliers in order to manufacture the new generation robots. This will include designing for manufacture and test as well as ensuring quality processes are followed.

Requirements:

  • Good degree in electronics from a well-ranked university.
  • Industry experience in projects involving mixed signal circuit design.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience of design for manufacture and test.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems (STM Cortex) or power electronics and motor drive systems.
