Multidisciplinary cutting-edge projects for aerospace and defence

This well-established group provides technology solutions to companies within the aerospace and defence sectors. This new role is for an Electronics Engineer to work on cutting-edge technology for innovative projects in areas such as cybersecurity, autonomous systems and communications and sensing technologies.

You must have a degree in electronic engineering from a highly-ranked university with the ability to work beyond the purely technical and to encompass the broader skills essential to a vibrant consulting business.

Whilst excellence in hardware design using high-speed digital electronics is essential, you will be capable of thinking beyond the electronics design itself with an ability to analyse and solve system level challenges.

You will have a broad spectrum of skills coupled with deep specialism within at least two of the following:

  • Extremely high throughput digital communications
  • Analogue design, especially sensor interfacing
  • RF and microwave electronics
  • Power electronics
  • PCB technologies

Additional knowledge in FPGA firmware or embedded software is also of interest.
