R&D Manager (26020)
This is a senior leadership role involving responsibility for development of new technology and products for an established international company specialising in versatile electronic control systems used across a range of high-tech application areas.
You would own and shape the R&D roadmap, manage projects, budgets, and external collaborations, and drive the evolution of initial concepts through to maturity and readiness for incorporation into future commercial products. The role is highly technical in nature, and a deep understanding of electronics and embedded software are just as essential as project management and team leadership aptitude.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 in an applicable STEM subject from a well-respected university.
- Expertise in leading and managing substantial interdisciplinary research and development projects.
- A technical background encompassing electronics, cross-platform software development, and display and user input technologies.
- Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit or sponsorship.
Based at the company’s Sussex offices with some scope for remote working, the global scope of the work may occasionally involve some UK and international travel to their other offices. Their culture is fun, fast-paced, and collaborative; they pride themselves on their ability to adapt fast and take on challenging projects. A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer to the successful candidate.
