Full stack development with variety and challenge

This software company develops a platform to aid medical researchers in analysing and reporting adverse reactions to drugs. This has been recently highlighted by the Covid vaccine roll-out and the need to accurately determine any effects in the receiving population and whether those effects are significant. This software platform makes a real contribution to ensuring that drug safety is paramount, across both medical and veterinary applications.

To aid in this quest, the company are seeking an enthusiastic software developer with the following skills and attributes:

  • A good degree in a relevant subject in science, maths or engineering
  • Excellent programming skills in Java; other languages will be considered but the core development will be in Java
  • Previous involvement in commercial Agile software development
  • Knowledge of Angular or TypeScript

In addition, any experience with DevOps would also be of interest.

The company works in a collaborative way, with developers forming part of the decision process in developing new features.

This role will initially be remote, but in the longer term you would need to be within commuting distance of the easily accessible office in west Cambridgeshire. The company is open to flexible working to suit the individual’s needs.
