Problem solving and showcasing a 3D modelling SDK's full potential

In this role a skilled software developer will use their problem-solving skills to creatively apply a top 3D modelling SDK to find novel solutions to client challenges. You can focus on the code, or engage closely with clients who are themselves developers, or both.

You'll need a real interest in problem solving. You'll be working with a fully featured SDK and coming up with creative solutions and compelling, high-quality demonstrations backed by exemplary source code.

You'll bring:

  • Software application development skills using C and/or C++, C# and potentially other languages (JavaScript, ...).
  • A sufficient mathematical grounding and mindset to work with a 3D API, understand 3D modelling concepts and approaches and how to select from them.

You'll have a good bachelor's or higher degree in a technical subject, and strong A-level Mathematics. You'll have full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.

You may also have prior experience with any of: OpenGL, WebGL, Vulkan, DirectX, Unity aka Unity3D, Unreal Engine, CAD or EDA tools.

Indicative 3D modelling areas include polygonal meshes (vertex/edge), CSG (boolean operations) and/or parametric and procedural geometry.
