Project Manager - Medical Devices (FT / PT) (26072)

Are you looking for that next career step as a Project Manager? Would you like to work within a dedicated PMO group where you will lead technical product development projects within the medical devices sector?

We are looking for a technically minded Project Manager to expand the current PMO portfolio and deliver on a wide range of product development. In this role, usually 2-3 projects are run concurrently, and delivering phased targets every few months to meet clients' needs.

Requirements:

• A proven track record in managing (including planning and delivering) healthcare / medical device projects.
• Demonstrable experience in: evaluating project risks; proposal preparation; project budgeting; and relevant documentation / standards (ISO 13485, 14971 and 21CFR Part 820).
• Experience delivering a technical, multi-disciplinary project combining one or more of the following: electronics, mechanical engineering, software, industrial design, usability, and device testing.

It is expected that interested applicants will be honours degree holders in Science, Engineering or similar; will have strong organisational and management skills including effective communications (for clients, technical subcontractors, colleagues and manufacturing).

The role will be predominately based at their offices (well-appointed, spacious buildings just south of Cambridge). Due to the nature of the role, occasional UK or overseas travel (when permitted) would be expected (up to a few days per month).

Whilst the preference is for someone looking for a full-time role, applicants who are looking for part-time (3-4 days per week) would also be considered (salary would be pro-rata).
