Modern C++ for sensors, robotic automation and navigation

This London based tech company are developing mobile robotic units that autonomously operate, collecting a plethora of data that is used by businesses to coordinate and manage inventory and supply chains. As part of their next phase in growth, they are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a hands-on technologist to join them as a Senior Software Developer.

In this role, key responsibilities will include the development of their robotics stack; interfacing with other platforms and systems to seamlessly communicate; and optimise connections with hardware.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience writing modern OO C++ code on Linux in successfully shipped products.
  • Experience working with hardware which could include exposure to embedded code.
  • Agile project development including modern coding standards, source control management, continuous build processes, and automated testing.
  • Good communication skills and ability to mentor others.

It is expected that candidates have a STEM degree, and ideally have had project experience with LIDAR, radar, robotics, navigation sensors, or autonomous systems.
