Create DSP algorithms for RF systems

This Algorithm Engineer’s role is to develop tuning algorithm software for RF circuits, and support integration of these algorithms with the hardware operating within a 3GPP LTE / 5GNR physical layer. In this role you will develop excellent interference cancellation technology experience.

You will possess a strong academic background including excellent mathematical skills and a technical degree from a respected university and may have gone on to complete a PhD.
Your skill base will include:

  • Development of DSP software/algorithms for physical layer processing or RF control
  • Design of software in MATLAB/Python
  • Ability to bring a system together as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • An understanding to ensure algorithms will function with circuit imperfections and non-ideal implementations

This is a great opportunity to join a young start-up early in their journey. As the Algorithm Engineer you will report direct to the CTO and work with hardware/platform engineers to define interfaces between the tuning algorithm and the surrounding sub-systems. Due to the experimental nature of the role it will be primarily Cambridge office based reverting to home working when necessary.
