Consultant Physicist (26187)
This established consultancy works on interesting projects across a range of industry sectors; they have excellent career prospects and ample scope for growing your skill set. Their development team are seeking an accomplished R&D Physicist to join them, working to develop products in application areas such as medical devices, consumer electronics, energy, or manufacturing.
The work will include modelling and hands-on experimentation to prove the viability of concepts. You will need broad technical knowledge and be comfortable picking up new skills and expertise as required to get the job done. A confident communicator, you will be happy to discuss requirements, ideas, and progress with clients and colleagues alike. Training is available on a range of subjects, and future career options might see you moving into management or business development, but equally, you can opt to progress on the technical route.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 degree in Physics or a closely related subject from a top university. Your A-levels will be mostly A* and A grades (or equivalent overseas qualifications). An MSc or PhD in a relevant subject would be advantageous.
- An excellent broad knowledge of physics fundamentals.
- Practical experimental skills across electronics, sensors, acoustics, optics, or electromagnetism.
- Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.
Offices and laboratory facilities are modern, well-equipped, and pleasantly located.
