UX Designer (26208)

to £47,000 DoE plus benefits

Software for makers, usability and UX, Cambridge

Help design software which is helping makers and companies take advantage of new approaches to design and manufacture. From concept through prototyping to production, via workshops and feedback, and in collaboration with engineers and product managers, help to ensure great UX for technical users.

You will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in product design, industrial design, human factors or a related field; or equivalent expertise
  • An appreciation for genuine usability and UX; this is not a purely visual or graphic design role, although these skills are also welcome
  • Used personas and scenarios, user stories, usability studies and gathered user feedback
  • Designed apps for the web, desktop and ideally Apple and Android mobile devices

Your CV will include or link to your portfolio of work.

A competitive salary and package are available depending on experience. Some international travel is anticipated, for instance when meeting users.
