AWS Cloud Engineer (26222)

Based in Cambridge, this data driven tech company provides a central resource for health and genomic biodata that allows their clients to develop new drug discoveries and support clinical decision-making. They are recruiting for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their software team to provide expertise in design, architecture and implementation of serverless workloads and pipelines on the AWS platform.

Requirements

• Experience developing and delivering robust and secure AWS based architecture including in-depth knowledge of IAM (identity and access management) and cloud networking.
• Strong understanding of Lambda, Python and BOTO3 framework. Further exposure to Terraform and GitLab would be highly desirable.
• As data is health-based, a working knowledge of GDPR policies is expected.
• Experience of automation tooling and workflow mapping.

The role is fully remote, so candidates must be able to work independently and manage their own workloads whilst being able to collaborate with a team and support broader team projects. Occasional visits to the Cambridge office may be expected, so only candidates based in the UK will be considered.
