Project manage software development with outsourced team

This tech company is creating applied diagnostic biological tools on their custom hardware product. They are engaged with a software consultancy to work closely with them to produce relevant analytical software and are now in a position to recruit a Software Engineer with Project Management experience to lead this working relationship. This is both a strategic role as well as technical position, combining understanding of customer / user requirements, future features and AWS compatibility. Due to the nature of the proprietary diagnostic technologies, an understanding of how regulated processes are documented is required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science or similar.
  • Demonstrable industry experience in software engineering and project management.
  • A wide range of technical knowledge with relevant web / mobile (JavaScript, React Native, Java); and cloud technologies (AWS, Docker).
  • Good communication skills, and experience working closely with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with new technologies and implement them as required.

This is a key role within the company, and would suit someone looking to utilise their project management skills within software whilst still having the opportunity to working closely with the code. Further, the position provides ample opportunity to have technical input into the project and seeing your ideas being applied.

Interested applicants are invited to send in their CV with evidence of demonstrable relevant experience.
