Involvement in the whole development cycle, from concept to fab

Play a technical steering role in this company's chip design. Here you will be given full involvement in all the various aspects related to the design of their ASICs. This team is expanding and has positions at different levels, so now is a great time to join them.

This role will provide opportunities to work on SoC design, speech recognition, wireless and many more application areas. Ideally you will have previously worked on audio/speech signal processing technologies (speech recognition) or wireless modem technologies (Bluetooth, 4G/5G, WiFi).

In this position you will define initial modelling needs and module interfaces/formats for simulation. You'll evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power grid. You will possess high proficiency in languages such as HDL (Verilog/System, Verilog), C, MATLAB and Perl/Python/tcl. Naturally it will be expected that you will steer issues relating to overall product cost, low power, optimal performance, flexibility, scalability and reusability. Overall you will be comfortable taking ownership of the architecture and detailed design.

You will work with a hybrid-working team of friendly, dedicated and very bright engineers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large company creating the best ASICs. As an established company they offer stock options with this role along with a bonus and good benefits.
