Senior Embedded Engineer - Web Browsers (26296)

Developing browser technology to power wondrous multimedia content

This company is flourishing thanks to its successful family of consumer electronics products centred around entertainment provision. With no let-up in momentum, they are now seeking an Embedded Developer with interest in working on browser technology to power their future innovations.

You would be joining a talented and friendly team where bright people are encouraged to use their own initiative and enjoy a high degree of ownership over their work. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop core functionality within the company’s embedded software which will support new features and services to be provided to end users.

You will need:

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree in a relevant STEM subject such as Computer Science or Electronics from a good university
  • Strong coding skills in modern C++, embedded software, and Linux, as well as front-end development skills with JavaScript.
  • A good understanding of the technical workings of web browsers, for example Chromium, Gecko or WebKit
  • Full existing right to work in the UK
