Innovative and proactive engineer for varied electronics design projects

You’ll join a successful company developing great products that change people’s lives for the better. Our client is an established technical consultancy near Cambridge. Projects are diverse in nature, technically challenging and with a wide range of clients from different application areas.

You will have excellent qualifications (good degree in electronics engineering from a highly ranked university), be credible in front of clients and be able to analyse and solve problems using a variety of approaches, from theoretical modelling and simulation, to prototyping and testing. It’s important to be able to show evidence of practical, hands-on skills.

Your responsibilities will include: hardware concept development, detailed design (including for FPGAs), prototyping and transfer to manufacture as required for individual projects. Many projects lie within medical technology development, hence experience working within a regulated environment is a bonus.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide support and mentoring to less experienced engineers, taking on technical reviewing and project management responsibilities.

Based within cycling distance of central Cambridge, our client offers a truly supportive environment to continue to develop your career. An excellent package, including annual bonus as well as cycle and electric car schemes, is on offer.
