Applied Physical Chemist (26310)

New hires are sought by this expanding scientific tech company. They are recruiting an applied Physical Chemist to join their core technical team. Projects would include: scientific development of droplet manipulation technology; system performance through optimisation of reagent composition and surface coatings; commercialisation of chemical components. This work would be in close collaboration with in-house scientists and external research partners.

Requirements:

• 1st or 2.1 in physical chemistry, biophysics or similar, followed by a relevant PhD.
• Demonstrable experience with micro droplets or microfluidics.
• Understanding of breadboard instrumentation and ideally working within regulated environments.

Projects will be challenging and suit those who enjoy technical / scientific problem solving. Excellent communications skills are expected including presentations and report writing.
