Building machine learning models from first principles for a variety of projects

Bring your machine learning experience to this team working on challenging and innovative projects in homeland security.

This is an exciting role for a Machine Learning Engineer wishing to work on pioneering concepts. Your work will involve designing products that apply machine learning principles, building the fundamental custom elements yourself as well as using third-party resources to best effect.

Develop your machine learning skills in a portfolio of projects that make a difference to people’s lives, protecting society at large from terrorists and cyber-criminals. Your CV will show the following:

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree in a relevant STEM subject from a well-respected university, ideally with an ML / AI focus
  • Evidence of your ability to build machine learning models for real-world applications from scratch, specifically within an engineering or physics application
  • Excellent coding skills in Python, including use of current machine learning frameworks
  • Ability to gain UK security clearance – must be a sole UK national
