Cloud Software Engineer - Python or JavaScript (26438)
In this role you would develop robust maintainable cloud services using JavaScript and/or Python on AWS for a company which is creating a revolution within the medical devices industry. These services would allow vital performance and operational analytics to be collated and shared, improving clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Based in their Cambridge office, you will be working across the full development lifecycle, exploring requirements in collaboration with users, planning development and estimating timescales, creating high quality software, and acting as a champion for best practice and process improvement. Your strong communication skills will allow you to create clear and concise technical documentation.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 degree in a relevant STEM subject from a well-respected university
- Excellent coding skills in at least one of Python or JavaScript and willingness to fill in any gaps in your knowledge
- A sound understanding of front and back-end web development, and cloud computing (preferably AWS)
- Full existing right to work in the UK without time limit, restriction, or the need for sponsorship
The following skills are not essential, but would be an advantage:
JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.JS, Kotlin, REST APIs, SQL, UNIX, Docker, Terraform, Git, JIRA, TeamCity, Agile Development.
