Defining the product roadmap for future automotive technologies

A leading automotive technology innovator seeks a skilled Product Manager with domain knowledge in the industry. This is a broad role where you’ll be building customer relationships, as well as collaborating with systems architects and engineers to shape future product evolution within an Agile environment.

Joining their Cambridge team, you will own the product roadmap, stay abreast of market trends and competitors’ activities. You will liaise with clients to capture requirements, balance these needs against the company’s own business goals to define and prioritise product features. You will be a champion for design innovation within the business, represent them at industry events, support the sales and business development teams, and help define go-to-market strategies for your products.

You will need:

  • A good technical degree from a well-respected university
  • Broad industry knowledge of the automotive sector coupled with a track record of success in product management
  • Proven aptitude for building fruitful professional relationships
  • An excellent grasp of automotive engineering, including electronic, mechanical, and software aspects. This should include an appreciation of future trends such as vehicle interaction with cloud-based computing.

The company are unable to offer sponsorship, so you will also need full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.

With an interesting array of clients and projects, the work will be challenging and interesting. You will be working with a cross-disciplinary team of highly motivated technology enthusiasts. The role is based at the company’s offices close to Cambridge with a competitive salary and benefits package. Scope exists for remote working when tasks allow.
