Lead DSP algorithm developer for 3D interactive component

This well-respected Cambridge start-up is seeking a Senior/Principal DSP Engineer, who specialises in algorithm design by processing complex noisy signals. They are targeting a variety of markets including domestic products. These include automotive, medical and hand-held devices. The technology/application area is already proven but there is a vast market to explore.

As a Senior/Principal DSP Engineer you will have a good technical university degree along with significant knowledge of the following:

  • Varied signal processing and algorithm design through multiple projects
  • Application of applied statistics, data science, applied mathematics
  • Deriving meaning from complex real-world data
  • Advanced MATLAB and Python skills to prove your algorithms
  • Proven optimisation capabilities
  • Design of algorithms to fit into resource-constrained systems

There are a few areas that give extra beneficial skills such as creating C code for embedded platforms, fixed-point design and machine learning. Along with knowledge of ARM series processors and peripherals. Though none of these are essential.

This is an exciting challenge for algorithm developer to be the main driving force behind their algorithms. They are also hiring a less experience DSP engineer to form a small team (this role is also available through ECM). Both positions are in a leading edge start-up offering excellent potential for professional growth and a competitive salary with bonus, stock options and pension.
