Principal Software Engineer (26567)

Wish to put the maths back into your C or C++ software development? This dynamic company offers challenging work and a friendly, fun working environment. They are seeking skilled software engineers who have good C or C++ coding skills and some experience of scripting languages. You should be dynamic and self-motivated, and able to turn ideas into reality, on your own or as part of a team.

You must offer a very impressive academic record (2.1/1st, good 'A' levels) and solid knowledge of software development in a commercial role. Your excellent maths skills will be utilised to make architectural optimisations at the beginning of the design flow and hence have a bigger impact on the quality of results than can be possible in subsequent steps. Ideally you would have some understanding of hardware issues however this can be picked up in the role.

You will work within a team of friendly, dedicated and very bright developers, and enjoy a hybrid working style.
