Making a difference through technology for cancer patients

This award-winning, VC-funded company is tackling cancer head-on through its proprietary technology combining molecular diagnostics and software. Their aim is to provide access for highly precise diagnostics for cancer for all. Their breakthrough solutions deliver highly-sensitive and comprehensive results that can enable clinicians to make quick and well-informed decisions for treatments for their patients.

They are looking to recruit a Software Developer to join them (onsite or hybrid) and contribute to their projects in scientific cloud-based tools development. The team work collaboratively and projects are well-defined so their goals can be met. Next projects include a mix of architecting, building and maintaining a cloud-based platform. Requirements:

  • Software development experience using Python. This should include experience in architecting and developing cloud-based platforms (ideally on AWS).
  • Past projects will have had exposure to security, authentication and access management.
  • General experience with full SDLC processes and ideally within a regulated environment (such as ISO13485 or ISO27001).
  • Broader technology experience with cloud tools and relational databases.

The role requires good communication skills as you will be working with other software developers as well as scientific technologists. Candidates with or without STEM degrees will be considered, the onus is more on the relevance of your work experience and technology know-how.
