£40,000 to £60,000 DoE + package

Edinburgh based software team developing tools for real-time models

This UK-US company are recruiting a Software Developer to join their engineering team. Their software tools are used to build and manage models based on real-time data. As part of this team, you will work on all aspects of projects including software programming, GUI design, database development and relevant testing. The company offer an excellent package including performance related bonuses and support for personal development. For qualifying candidates, relocation assistance is available.


  • Masters or other post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Demonstrable project experience in programming for Windows development tools (including use of C#.NET and SQL Server). Exposure to Winforms and WPF would be beneficial.
  • Good communication and organisation skills to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong time management skills. Able to meet deadlines and deliver projects successfully.

As present and future projects evolve, knowledge of cloud computing, machine learning or AI would be desirable.

The role is based at their offices within a business park in Edinburgh city (a couple of miles away from the train station). Opportunities for occasional international travel is available. For the application process, remote interviews are possible.
