Characterisation, validation and test of RF technology systems

Having just relocated within Cambridge to bigger offices, this tech start-up is hiring as it grows its engineering team. Their innovative solutions tackle engineering problems around modern RF architectures used in smart phones and IoT devices. They seek a RF Engineer who will work on optimisation of RF modules through: design and developing evaluation test boards; developing RF test plans; and automate RF test setups.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electronics or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of RF testing including understanding radio architectures and performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience using RF lab equipment including spectrum analysers, network analysers, RF signal generators and load pull systems. This should also include calibrating equipment and general lab management.
  • Exposure to Python, MATLAB or LabVIEW.

As part of a team, the role does therefore require good communication skills (written and verbal) including reports and relevant documentations.

Offices are based in Cambridge and can be easily reached via public transport or cycling / walking if preferred. On offer is a competitive salary including share options.
