Use you Verilog and VHDL skills to design innovative FPGA-based devices

A home-grown Cambridge success story; this company are seeking a talented FPGA engineer to join their team. You would be joining a multidisciplinary team of engineers, working on next-generation products and features for routing control and video in complex interconnected systems.

This role may typically include using VHDL and Verilog to develop custom RTL designs; devising novel video transmission and compression technologies; and participating in, and potentially leading design activities. As a key member of the development team, you be making a substantial impact of the future evolution of the product range.

You will need:

  • A 1st or 2.1 in a relevant STEM subject from a leading university
  • Proven FPGA design skills, including VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Proficiency with Vivado, Quartus, and a range of FPGAs including Zynq, and Arria, and experience of simulation with ModelSim or Questa
  • Knowledge of comms for FPGAs, such as AXI, PCI Express, Ethernet, high-speed serial links, USB, DisplayPort and HDMI
  • Full existing permission to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.
