Embedded software project leadership to improve patients’ lives

Run embedded software projects at this highly regarded technical consultancy in Cambridge. Your precision and attention to detail will be key to achieving results in the highly regulated medical devices sector. Success in this area means consequential improvements to the quality of life for patients with conditions ranging from epilepsy to Parkinson’s.

This newly created role offers a high degree of freedom and can be tailored to your strengths. You’ll be managing the schedule, resources, budget, and team sizes for embedded software projects at this company. Successful outcomes are the company’s primary concern, so you will have complete control over the development methodologies used for your projects, be it Agile, Waterfall or something else entirely.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading embedded software teams responsible for planning, budgeting and delivery as well as ensuring outcomes meet expectations
  • A history of software development leadership in a highly regulated environment (e.g., medical, aerospace, automotive, etc…)
  • 1st or 2.1 degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related subject
