C++ Software Engineer (26726)

With several connectivity solutions already in service with mobile networks, they are keen to recruit an exceptional C++ Software Engineer to join their development team.
This role might appeal to you if you’ve been a part of a large team and felt like you are seeing a small part of the picture – in this role you would have a much greater involvement, building up expertise across their software stack. Your skills will be put to good use designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable C++ code, with full involvement across all stages of the software development life cycle.
Excellent C++ coding skills will be essential, and previous expertise in mobile networking data services and protocols will be a major asset in this role. The company uses Agile processes to co-ordinate work between remotely based engineers, and periodically you will need to be able to attend in person to plan future tasks, so you will need to be able to come to Cambridge on a monthly basis.
You will demonstrate a strong academic background from a world leading university in a relevant subject related to software development and in particular several of the following:
- A 1st or 2.1 in Computer Science or similarly applicable subject from a well-respected university
- Solid experience in C++ development and a sound knowledge of software engineering best practice and Agile development processes.
- Aptitude for coding efficient algorithms and efficiently use data structures.
- Knowledge of gcc and Linux, and ideally Kubernetes
