Work with engineering teams building next generation medical hardware

Medical devices used in hospitals, clinics and ambulances require stringent oversight that they are designed and built robustly, and their use (or misuse) has been thoroughly thought through. Our client is an award-winning company that develop both mechanical and electro-mechanical devices used in healthcare. These are typically next generation products which are developed using our client’s expertise in engineering and human factors.

They are currently recruiting a Technical Project Manager to join them and help them deliver their next products for commercial launch. This will include proposal planning, budgeting and product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Background in electronics, mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Demonstrable project management experience delivering medical device products from concept, design to prototyping and even manufacture.
  • Deep understanding of medical device standards including ISO 13584 / 14971 and 21CFR Part 820.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of relevant project proposals, planning, budgeting and risk.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (electronics, software, industrial design, device testing, human factors).
  • Any specific project experience delivery products in: drug delivery, diagnostics instrumentation, critical care products would be desirable.
