Innovation Strategy Consultant (26862)

We are seeking a Innovation Strategy Consultant to help a Cambridge-based innovation company grow their consultancy offering in this domain. Specifically, your commercial understanding and strategic insights would complement the scientific and engineering skills of their team technical specialists, adding a new dimension to their services.

The work will be very varied, involving a wide array of projects, clients, and industries. Your time will be divided between dealing with day-to-day as well as strategic business issues, project management, building new business relationships, and developing new business opportunities.

You could be helping companies adapt to industry disruption from new technologies; helping them find new markets and new ways to monetize their inventions; or helping them find the right strategy to fuel their innovation of new products.

Essential skills and attributes:

• A very strong academic background with a 1st or 2.1 in a relevant STEM discipline, backed up by strong A-level (or equivalent) grades
• Management of client-focussed projects and leadership of technology development teams
• Ideation, leading technical discussions, and requirements capture
• Networking, and building creative collaborations within the company and with external partners
• Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship
