RF front-end module design for radio receivers

This new, exciting, and well-funded RF startup is working on dramatically simplifying modern RF architectures used for a variety of applications. The core concepts were developed as part of university research in the UK, and now well-credentialled RF engineers are required to bring these technologies to market.

In this role you will be working on the design of front-end modules, responsible for both individual components and system-level development. You will also be working closely with the 3GPP and FCC requirements to ensure front-end module compliance.

Requirements:

  • Top degree in Electronics Engineering or similar from a prestigious university
  • Extensive understanding of RF design including fundamentals such as impedance matching and filter design, and modular building blocks such as power amplifiers and RF switches
  • Strong skills in circuit simulation and EM modelling using software from Sonnet, Ansys, Cadence, or Keysight
  • Willingness to do hands-on device testing including characterisation and problem solving

Based in Cambridge, the offices can be easily reached by public transport, bike, or on foot. On offer is a very competitive salary and share options.
