Design, develop and build next-generation medical instrumentation

Based in new, modern offices and workspace, this established company is recruiting. They seek a Principal Electronics Engineer to join them. Their projects are typically related to medical and healthcare instrumentation and have incorporated ultrasound and X-ray technologies. They will create proof-of-concept prototypes as well as build instruments to deliver patient care.

Requirements

  • Degree in electronics or similar; advanced degree in medical electronics would be of interest.
  • Demonstrable experience with electronics development that was incorporated into the successful delivery of medical device products.
  • Experience with analogue circuits and/or high-speed digital electronics for instrumentation. Exposure to FPGA design and firmware would be beneficial.
  • Application experience with medical imaging technologies (ultrasound, X-ray etc…), applied sensors, or medical robotics would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of projects, it is expected that you would be mostly office-based (occasional home-working is possible). Whilst onsite, you will be supported with top tools and a comfortable working environment to allow you to deliver your best work. This also includes well-being and career support.
