Develop digital ICs for mass production

In this exciting role, you will be working in a team of engineers designing custom ICs and FPGAs, capable of extremely accurate control over complex electrical-mechanical systems. You will be working on a world leading controller IC developed specifically for the needs of the consumer electronics market.

Knowledge of both IC and FPGA design is crucial as this company prototypes and tests their ICs using FPGAs, an important aspect of the design process and one you will be involved in. A hands-on attitude is key as you can just as easily find yourself building or using test rigs as you can designing circuits behind a computer screen.

You will need:

  • Strong Verilog and SystemVerilog skills including previous experience with design and verification of ICs / FPGAs / ASICs
  • Specific knowledge of Xilinx FPGA development tools
  • Good knowledge of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI and USB
  • General Python scripting skills, ideally in the areas of testing frameworks, build scripts and CI/CD automation

You will be working in a friendly and innovative company whose products and technologies have been used in mass produced consumer products around the globe. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package including global travel opportunities and private health insurance.
