Technical and strategic leadership at medical data company

This healthcare data company is looking for a CTO to oversee their data platform as the company enters a new period of growth. Their existing technical infrastructure is in need of a revamp to support their ambitious plans and so they seek a knowledgeable senior leader equally at home writing code and managing teams.

Suitable candidates will have a broad technical background in software engineering with specific expertise in architecting cloud-based platforms. This company is heading towards a serverless event-based microservice architecture with REST and GraphQL APIs and a Vue.js frontend, so experience with any of these technologies would be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of the data protection act, ISO27001 and other relevant legislation related to data security is essential, while awareness of the health and care landscape within the UK is highly desirable. Outside these specific requirements, experience with senior management responsibilities such as product delivery, change management (on an organisational and interpersonal level), strategic planning, and budgeting are sought after.

You will be joining a company dedicated to improving the health and care system here in the UK. Wholly owned by not-for-profits, they are committed to achieving their goals with inclusive and sustainable behaviours. On offer alongside the salary is a comprehensive set of benefits including an excellent pension and a wellbeing package.

Please note: even if you don’t have exactly the background indicated, do contact us now if this type of job is of interest – we may well have similar opportunities that you would be suited to. And of course, we always get your permission before submitting your CV to a company.

Recommend for £250 – see www.ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend for details.
