Senior Control Engineer (27006)
This team is looking for a control expert to help them further develop their system modelling and control algorithms used in high-tech electronic devices, manufactured at scale. Along with solving highly complex control problems, you will be building bespoke test equipment to evaluate the real-world effectiveness of your algorithmic changes. You will also work closely with other teams as your improvements are rolled out across the company’s products.
Requirements:
- Top grades in a STEM degree from a highly rated university with specific elements in Control Engineering and/or Dynamic Modelling and ideally a PhD in Control Engineering.
- Industrial experience developing computational models and control algorithms for electronic devices. This could also come in the form of a PhD with an industrial partner.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape. Further proficiency with at least one of C, C#, or Python.
- Good knowledge of control system design and analysis, especially for dynamic systems. This should include experience developing real time embedded control systems.
