Fast growing electronics company needs technical QA

In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of quality assurance at this hardware electronics technology company. This will include discussing and agreeing corrective actions with customers and engineering teams, ensuring continuous improvement processes and systems align with the companies’ objectives, and driving through changes to improve the quality of products across the company.

You need to be a strong and confident professional capable of engaging with leading technical experts and challenging the status quo. Your work will not just impact the R&D team in Cambridge but also their supply chain and manufacturing partners around the world.

  • Thorough knowledge of current quality standards and their application in a technology R&D environment. This includes an understanding of the challenges inherent in bringing an organisation up to ISO9001 standards and managing the ongoing internal and external auditing required to maintain this standard.
  • Additional knowledge of automotive quality processes and tools such as APQP and FMEA will be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to travel internationally whenever it’s required. This is a customer facing role and will require technical communications with key individuals around the globe, some of whom will not be native English speakers.

Working in a cutting-edge, high-tech company has its perks. Alongside the competitive salary are a host of benefits including private health insurance, subsidised catering, and lunchtime leisure activities.
