Testing embedded and IC design code

This smart and supportive team are looking for someone to help with the development and testing of various source codes across domains including mathematical modelling, embedded development, and IC design. As the ultimate product is a hardware electronics device, this role will incorporate some hardware testing.

Working at a successful and innovative company, you will benefit from close collaboration with other experts in a variety of fields. Alongside a generous salary and tech-company style perks such as free breakfasts, also on offer is private health insurance with coverage for you and your family.

Alongside constructing automated test suites, you will be working with CI/CD tools and source code management tools to improve this team’s software processes. Due to the specialised nature of the work, additional experience or knowledge of the development in SystemVerilog for IC’s or the internal structure of IC’s will be beneficial to your application.

Requirements:

  • Strong automated testing skills, ideally with Python.
  • Good understanding of DevOps specifically related to industry standard CI/CD tooling, source code administration, and software package management.
  • Working knowledge of embedded electronics systems and firmware development in C/C++.
  • Electronics experience including hardware test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, benchtop power supplies) and communication interfaces (e.g., I3C, USB, SPI).
