Build and Automation Engineer - Embedded Systems (27068)

You will be joining an internationally renowned electronics company whose products are class leading and found in consumer devices all around the world. You will be part of their Firmware group working together with talented engineers to develop tools and processes to improve every aspect of their development experience, rigorously cutting down manual processes and replacing them with intelligent automated systems. Your work will often integrate with other systems developed in house, including silicon prototyping with FPGAs and final product hardware testing. The breadth and scope of this company is unique and will expose you to ideas and challenges you won’t see anywhere else.

This company is unable to provide support for visa holders, so you must have full and unrestricted rights to work in the UK to be considered for this role. In addition you will have:

• A good degree from a top university (Russell group or similar) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Demonstrable industrial experience in a DevOps environment, specifically in process automation (using programming languages like C#, Python, bash, or PowerShell) and CI system configuration (using tools such as Jenkins).
• Good knowledge of Embedded Systems development including C/C++ build systems.
  Development is conducted on both Windows and Linux systems, so confidence working in both OSs is necessary. Knowledge of Docker is also highly valued.
