C# Application Developer (27427)

The company have a good pedigree and a long history as a small, highly skilled and successful business. Their highly-regarded expert systems allow people and companies to take a scientific view of complex decisions for new and ongoing ventures.

The company are accepting early registrations of interest at this time for prospective formal hiring over coming weeks towards an autumn start. They would be looking for an experienced C# and ASP.NET developer to continue development of progressive refinements and new features.

The requirements:

  • A good university degree in computer science or another technical/numerate subject
  • Commercial experience in C# with a sound knowledge of the .NET Framework 4.x
  • Primary expertise with ASP.NET, ideally ASP.NET MVC and Razor pages
  • Willingness to contribute to UI code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery) – though the UI is not the primary focus of this role
  • A good grasp of software architecture for their server side expert system
  • A collaborative outlook, and the desire for a long term position

Additional experience with database systems (SQL Server / MySQL), e-commerce (Stripe), report generation (SAP Crystal Reports), systems administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, PowerShell, DNS), networking (Ubiquiti Unifi), email (SMTP, SPF, DKIM), or learning management systems is welcome but not required.
