RF Data Scientist / Researcher (27646)
This research position has a three year term, working with sensor data in the RF signals domain, surveying, developing and applying modern techniques, including the use of AI. The recognition, identification, localisation and manipulation of relevant signals are topics of interest.
You will have:
- A PhD, or equivalent commercial experience, in a field making good use of techniques from physics, electronics, statistics, numerical methods or software engineering.
- British nationality and eligibility for UK security clearance.
- Either practical experience applying machine learning to real-world problems, or experience developing relevant algorithms in RF signals – or a combination.
- If you do not have RF signals experience, your CV will show experience developing novel algorithms in a related area of signal processing (communications, network traffic analysis or threat detection, instrumentation operating in the RF domain, etc.)
- Fluent Python or equivalent programming language skills, and a sound approach to making reliable software proofs of concept, version control, issue tracking, automated testing, etc.
- Familiarity with producing journal-quality papers, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting your work.
Some opportunities for hybrid work are likely, alongside time spent at the organisation’s central London research offices.
