This multinational materials company is expanding its Materials Solutions team and seeking candidates with a STEM background who are keen to get involved in end-to-end technical sales. This company has an extensive portfolio of products and services numbering in the hundreds of thousands touching on all aspects of modern engineering and science. With such a large offering, customers often need help and guidance to find the right material and format, be that something off-the-shelf, or a one-of-a-kind custom composition. This is where their Materials Solutions team come in.

You will combine science and engineering knowledge with commercial drive to win and deliver high-value contracts. You will own opportunities end-to-end understanding customer’s technical requirements, shaping the solution, working with technical and sourcing specialists and ultimately closing the deal. As a member of the Materials Solutions team, you will receive support and guidance as you develop into this role and there are clear opportunities for career progression.

Requirements:

  • A STEM degree, ideally in materials science or other closely related discipline such as chemistry or engineering.
  • Some technically focused customer facing experience. This could be in technical or solution sales, applications engineering, consultancy or other commercial role.
  • Genuine interest in working on the commercial side of a technical business.

They support sectors like aerospace, medical research and green energy and are continuing to grow the company in new strategic areas such as photonics and batteries. A strong remunerations package is available to the right candidate. Full UK work permission is required without time limit or sponsorship.
