This company develops bespoke products and solutions for high-profile clients in aerospace, government and defence sectors. They have been steadily growing over the last few years, and have achieved recognition as industry leaders in their field. They’re seeking a numerate software developer who might have a few years’ commercial experience, to join their team based just west of the M25, commutable from either London or Surrey.
Candidates will need to have a stellar academic pedigree, with at least a 2.1 Master’s in a numerate subject from a top Russell Group university. Beyond that, they’re open to a broad range of experience, but would prefer to see a variety of projects and technologies, rather than someone with extensive experience in writing one particular type of enterprise software, for instance. They themselves use a variety of languages depending on suitability, but are interested in seeing:
- C, C++ or C# languages – Java or Scala might be relevant too;
- prototyping / scripting with Python, MATLAB or R;
- embedded / low-level work to perhaps interface to drivers or micro controllers;
Multidisciplinary experience working with electronics, RF, comms or SoCs would also be relevant.
Based in modern offices with lab space on site (expect to see bits of satellite components, oscilloscopes, Arduino boards or Raspberry Pis knocking around), this company offers an excellent salary + package in a collaborative environment with plenty of scope for career progression, professional development and project responsibility. Why not apply and see if you have what it takes!
