This scientific start-up is expanding its R&D team and is looking for a graduate Synthetic Chemist to join them. Key responsibilities will include work on specialised chemical products used on microfluidic applications; maintaining relevant supplies for materials; and developing novel chemistry based biochips.

Requirements:

  • 1st / 2.1 (or equivalent) and Masters or PhD in organic chemistry.
  • Working experience in a wet chemistry laboratory including practical experience and knowledge of a wide range of synthetic chemistry reactions.
  • Highly desirable is experience with scaled up chemical processes / pilot processes.
  • Further experience with soft-lithography fabrication, microfluidics, mass spectrometry would be beneficial.
