SW London
to £40k DoE

Are you a C++ software developer who wants your work to 'make a difference'. Our client develops state of the art software used to combat serious crime and terrorism. This could involve using deep learning methods to analyse video or image media or data fusion and control to classify threats in behaviour. The current development team takes the latest scientific research and applies it to real-world applications.

To join the team you will be someone with a creative and enquiring mind; the work calls for truly innovative thinking and isn't a 'bog standard' C++ software developer role. As part of this highly qualified group, you will work on challenging conundrums working with the latest technologies. Our client values your long term progress so they encourage you to pursue areas of work that are of interest to you and assign project work accordingly.

You should have a 1st or 2.1 degree in Computer Science (or Maths, Physics, Engineering including a high software content) from a top-ranked university. Candidates with a PhD in Computer Science would also be of particular interest.

You must also have excellent demonstrable experience in both C++ and Python.

In addition to a competitive salary, the benefits package includes an annual bonus and long-term incentive scheme.

The field of work means that UK security clearance will be required; you must have been predominately resident in the UK for the last five years.
