Audio Algorithm development, Audio research, Python, MATLAB, Cambridge

A modern approach is required by this traditional audio company to create state-of-the-art algorithms.

You will be an outstanding mathematician with a solid understanding of statistical methods amongst a very broad range of mathematical techniques. This company is able to offer you a very experienced algorithm developer as a mentor, who will step aside to other projects as you grow in this role.

As the Mathematical Algorithm Developer you will probably have a first class masters degree from a world leading university. You will either have some experience or have just graduated.

To be able to excel at this role you will have some interest in the music industry or musical ability, hence have the right aptitude and understanding when analysing a situation that requires a new algorithm. The tools you will using will typically be Python and MATLAB. If you are able to code a solution for a DSP chip that would be a fantastic bonus, but not required part of the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mathematical background and a passion for audio systems. The existing members of the company are all audiophiles providing a strong team environment within a pleasant office and full range of staff benefits.
