Junior / Graduate Test Engineer (24542)

This Cambridge based scientific software team are part of a multinational company, developing desktop and cloud software tools used for complex data analytics and visualisation that can impact medical applications. The team use an Agile approach for project development and share a passion for technology and improving human health. They seek an enthused graduate / junior Software Test Engineer to join them.

Requirements:

• A degree in a technical or analytical subject (computer science, physics, biological sciences, maths or engineering).
• Some exposure to coding / scripting (in Python, Java, C# or Excel Macros). Demonstrable evidence of interest in software (hobby projects, Github).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Industry experience relating to software would be desirable.

The successful candidate can expect to join a friendly team, be supported and mentored, and be registered for ISTQB foundation test certification. They will work on interesting projects within an Agile development environment, and also learn about regulated development and working to international standards. As you build your experience, you will start to write your own test cases and automated tests for new features.
