This is an outstanding role for a talented Software Developer to join a prestigious consultancy company. You will work on innovative projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. In addition to extensive technical challenge, the role offers the opportunity to lead ambitious projects.

This is a client facing role, where you will discuss the technical aspects of your projects regularly with clients to help identify solutions to meet their needs. You will also take responsibility for the development of new and unique science-based solutions to technically challenging problems, by drawing on your software knowledge and insight, analysis skills, creativity, initiative and drive.

You should have a strong understanding of software development with knowledge across a range of programming languages and fluency in at least one of C#, C++, Java or C. You should also have good knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, iOS, Android, Linux etc. Primarily, you should be someone who enjoys serious technical challenge and who can produce a wide range of solutions to novel technical problems.

With excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate the technical aspects of your work confidently and authoritatively, the role calls for a solid academic record (1st / 2.1 from a leading university and top grade A levels) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in any of the following areas would also be a distinct advantage:

  • Experience of all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle from requirements elicitation to software validation
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment working alongside other highly motivated experts in their fields
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC62304, IEC61508 or ISO13485
  • Any experience (or potential) for team or project-leadership
