This exciting new stealth start-up is poised to deliver a disruptive new technology platform, bringing the benefits of genetic profiling and analysis to healthcare and therapeutics, enabling doctors and GPs to address the approaching challenges of preventable diseases and health problems.

With a proof-of-concept already developed, and committed technology partners who have brought good level of financial security, this comany is seeking an experienced Software Developer who can transform their existing approach to a robust, scalable software data platform that could be deployed across a nationwide healthcare service such as the NHS. You’ll have the opportunity to be in at the start of a game-changing new technology, and use your technical acumen to develop a robust new system and platform from the ground up.

The successful Software Developer will need to show proven commercial experience with:

• software and database architecture to create a secure and scalable platform for processing large amounts of genetic data;
• developing robust data pipelines to import, process, analyse and visualise data (the team currently uses C and Python, but other languages would be considered);
• working with sensitive data (ideally medical / patient) to develop secure access and storage protocols;
• databases (SQL or similar) and continuous integration and deployment of software.
  Candidates will also need to have existing permission to work in the UK without restrictions or requiring sponsorship. The successful candidate will also ideally be able to start in early 2019.
