AI R&D for intelligent agents in new Cambridge HQ

Top graduates in computing, mechanical engineering and the physical sciences, with strong C++ programming ability, are drawn to this pioneering company. From their UK HQ in Cambridge, and its twin abroad, they create robust intelligent agents which operate on large scale networks. Machine learning provides advanced statistical models which permit agents to make probabilistic assessments of environmental factors. Highly modular engineered systems engaged by the agents then carry out a variety of tasks.

Interested graduates and experienced engineers will need to show their:

  • 1st or 2:1 from a Russell Group university, and strong A-level grades including mathematics
  • Personal projects and, for experienced candidates, evidence of having striven towards continuous innovation throughout a software development career
  • Expertise with the C++ programming language (14 or 17 preferred)

Experience with large scale networks, AI, machine learning, and computational statistics is highly beneficial. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthused by technology, is a voracious learner and knows when to run with a task and when to seek advice from peers.

Competitive salaries for the Cambridge area can be expected. Their modern offices are close to public transport links and some parking is available. Development practices are informally Agile, decided by each team. Projects range from individual research through to collaborative development and refinement of existing systems.

To be considered, send your CV to ECM Selection; whilst we can only put forward the top few candidates, we do read every CV and try to respond to everyone. Or visit the ECM Selection website and recommend a friend for £250 – see http://www.ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend for details.
