Exceptional C# Developer (25030)

We are seeking an exceptionally talented developer with a very deep understanding of the C# language to work on a high performance mathematical modelling tool. If you are the type of developer who enjoys delving into the inner workings of the language (for instance the memory management and threading implications of various constructs) in order to squeeze the last ounce of performance from your design, then this might be the role for you.

You would be joining a team of highly skilled developers working under a lightweight and pragmatic Agile development process; however, you would also enjoy the competitive benefits package and job security of an established and successful company.

You will need the following for a successful application:

• A strong academic pedigree with a 1st or 2:1 degree in a STEM subject from a Russell group or equivalent university as well as strong A level grades including a top grade in Maths
• Significant experience with C# including a deep understanding of how to create highly optimised, fast and memory-efficient code that is scalable and maintainable
• A solid understanding of the software development life cycle
• Experience in developing user interfaces with WPF.

Good communication skills will be essential in order to collaborate effectively on conceptually challenging tasks. Skills or experience in C++, Cloud Technologies, Test Driven Development, and RESTful API design would be useful but not essential.
